
This year the Bike Blenheim Palace cycling festival is aiming on being the largest and hottest to date, the annual event has exchanged its cooler autumn date for a warmer summer slot to celebrate British cycling.
With the aim of missing October’s wet conditions last year, this year the event is to be held on Sunday August 21st, a picnic basket packed lunch would be fitting.
Inclusive of the events are the Pink Ribbon marathon distance 26.2 mile ride, 60 and 100 mile sportives-sponsored by Cycling Weekly.
Other events include a 20km time trial, and the Brompton World Championships. Go-Ride courses are available for children, An MTB team show their stunt skills, bicycle polo, spectators also have stalls and exhibitions to also enjoy.
For the more leisurely rider, the beautiful routes of Blenheim grounds are there to be enjoyed.
